Marc is the founder and owner of Unified Fighting Arts (Arkansas) and is an internationally reknowned Instructor in Silat, Kali & JKD having instructorships with the legendary Pak Herman Suwanda in Mande Muda Penjak Silat and Guro Dan Inosanto in Kali, JKD & Maphalindo Silat.

Guro Dan is the head of our system and the only person certified to teach Jeet Kune Do by Bruce Lee; the most knowledgeable and talented martial artist on the planet and a superlative inspiration. At 75 years old, he still retains speed which would make athletes 50 years his junior look slow by comparison and an unrivaled knowledge of both practical and theoretical martial arts as well as the deep history and culture behind each art.

Rick Faye is the founder of the prestigious Minnesota Kali Group and one of the world’s leading authorities on Kali/Fillipino Martial Arts & Jeet Kune Do.

He will be teaching four hours of Panantukan (the unarmed area of Kali), focusing on range, limb destruction and immobilisation.

He also holds instructorships in Wing Chun Gung Fu, Sensei Erik Paulson’s C.S.W. curriculum (Combat Submission Wrestling) and numerous other arts.

Steve Mair will be teaching his unique approach to Wing Chun and presenting a complete overview to the system over two days.

The seminar will focus on concepts, strategies and development of movement for a practical and functional overview of the system concentrating on function over form.

This is a unique opportunity to train with Steve who was one of the pioneers of UK Wing Chun. Steve originally trained with Simon Lau and alongside James Sinclair and subsequently taught Kevin Chan before he moved abroad.

This is the first time Steve has presented his unique blend of Wing Chun in the UK for almost 10 years.

It promises to be very different to many seminars and will not be technique based but rather looking to develop individuals and attributes through the medium of Wing Chun. Lessons learned will be applicable to all fighting art forms and will be readily transferable post seminar.

Silat is a deadly indigenous street fighting system from Indonesia. This eclectic style incorporates a number of sub-systems including the Tiger and Monkey style as well as traditional training systems such as Chimande and Chikalong.

The Arts draw upon many tactics and strategies, including striking, entries, nerve attacks, locks, throws, sweeps, submissions and ground fighting.

Sifu Paul Finn is the only Instructor in UK certified with Ibu Rita Sawunda to teach this deadly system.

Karasac’s founder and chief instructor Guro Paul Finn will be in Ireland this weekend teaching a four-day Silat seminar to The Na Fianna Finn Combat Academy .
